What will he find along the way?The first book in this series is fairly short, as it sets up the circumstances that lead Alan to the road. It provides an interesting twist to dealing with grief. The people that Alan meets along the way are part of the story - what does God have in mind for him? Alan begins to challenge his faith as he puts the miles behind him.I enjoyed the story. It is told through a series of journal entries. And while I would say that it is not a literary masterpiece, it does make you think about many things in the road of life. And look at your own walk - even if it's just through your everyday circumstances.
