Ginny, a woman who struggles with Asperger's syndrome, loses her parents who have helped her set up coping strategies her entire life and sheltered her to some degree. In the aftermath of their deaths, Ginny struggles with her sister, and the idea of independence while dealing with grief. And along the way, ghosts are attracted to her recipes and help her piece together the puzzle of living.Loved this book. Ginny is a sympathetic protagonist, one you want to succeed. But only in going through her journey do we come to understand her struggle, and wonder ourselves if she can overcome and how she can overcome. The addition of the "ghosts" make the story intriguing as Ginny pursues the mystery of normalcy. It's definitely a character story. One of my favorites so far in 2012.
