Shelly's Book Journal

This is the story of three women in WWII - one a reporter, one the wife of a doctor and one the postmistress of a small town. While the reporter experiences the war first hand, the others only see it from another side, and the postmistress gets a little nosy reading the mail of the doctor's wife, whose husband has gone overseas to help.The story started out quite interesting and engaging, some characters more interesting than others, but yet I was curious to see how all the pieces would fit together. When all was said and done, it was not as compelling of a story as perhaps it seemed to be.
