I'd actually give this 3.5 stars. This is formula chick lit. Lucy Valentine and her family can read auras that allow them to run a successful matchmaking company. Lucy's ability morphed into "finder of lost things" when she was 14. She usually keeps her powers on the hush, hush but now an opportunity to do good has materialized. Not to mention a cute guy who seems to set her powers all wacky.Yup it's got it all - female mystery solver, unique twist, cute guy...not a bad read overall if you are looking for something light. Lucy doesn't seem to be the completely helpless feminine heroine. Some of the secondary characters are a bit interesting. But a lot of "matchmaking" in this story. This isn't a one and done mystery (I am known for it), but currently there are four books in the series, and I have my doubts on whether I will make it beyond the next book. We will see if the author continues to keep it fresh with new things or if it morphs into the same old, same old often found in these series.
