Wow, I loved this book in so many ways. What an exciting story! A boy discovers a mysterious book which he falls in love with. As he gets older, he discovers there is someone out there determined to destroy the book. In trying to discover why, he runs across a mystery of love, friendship, secrets, and lies. There are twists and turns around every corner.The characters in this book are fascinating and interesting. The story is bizarre, but thrilling. I love the era that things take place in - no technology to really rely on, just intuition, persistence, stealth and a little luck. Just an overall neat story.It was one of those books that you never want to end, yet you can't wait to see what happens next.2011 Additions:This is the third time through this book, and it was still as wonderful as the first time. I really love the characters and the plot turns. I would have to say my favorite book of all time.
