4 friends. 1 summer apart. 1 pair of pants that they share. This is their story.I had read the first 50 pages or so of this book last summer, and really didn't get into it. I picked it up because I was looking for something short and light in the middle of some heavy non fiction reads. It was short and light, but yet each of the girls situations seemed to jiggle loose a similar experience in my own life. And while they faced their own mistakes and shortcomings, they force themselves to push through. I am not sure I would have had such a strong emotional reaction as a teen reading this book.So, I really liked it. A treasure. Wish I had a daughter to pass this on to.
