The Knitting Circle
I think I liked this book better than the "Knitting Club" books. The main character is a mother tortured by the sudden death of her 5 y.o. daughter. She uses knitting as a vehicle to work through the pain, as well as to connect with other women who share their loss and lives through a knitting group. Each step of her journey brings her forward with a new type of knitting project.
