Battle of the Ironclads (We the People) (We the People (Compass Point Books Hardcover))
Great book on these ironclad ships. It also gives a brief history of how the French and English experimented with Ironclads first. The book covers the construction of the two ships and then their historic battle in Chesapeake Bay - along with how the two ships met their ends. Loved the book - just wish it had mentioned the ironclads that were on the rivers of the US and used by Grant in the Western Civil War battles.
