Custer's Last Stand (Turning Points in U.S. History)
Told from a US Government perspective, but does not ignore that the Indians were under duress from the many conflicts of the Indian Wars. Custer is not painted as a hero, but more the unfortunate situation of being outnumbered. Good overview of the Battle in context of the reality of the situation.Recommend for: Elementary aged.
