This is an interesting little story about a model town that comes under duress when a website starts publishing private conversations of individuals. What does it really mean to "listen"? Damien, a reporter for the local newspaper, is wrapped up in the mystery of who put up the site, along with his best friend and police officer Frank. There are a lot of other issues going on with many families in the town that play into the drama. But it explores the Biblical truth that our words have power.I enjoyed this book. Read it in a day. It was a fairly predictable mystery, but there were so many other things going on, that I always wondered if I was right. But it really explored what happens when we don't tame our tongue. I think it was a solid 3.5 stars. I liked that the mystery wasn't some big ugly sex crime, like so many other books, I have seen or read. It seemed like real people, in real lives, for the most part. Many of the conflicts, common to most every family.Freebe on B&N last week. Don't know if it still is.
