The second I opened the book, the first paragraphs were dripping with the descriptive language of Kim Meeder's writing. I knew I was with a familiar friend. This story is different than Kim's past books which detail broken horses that come to her Crystal Peaks Ranch and how they broken horses heal and help help others. This story is about a friend and a dog. Together their relationship brings Laurie back to God, and Mia (the dog) finds a safe and loving owner. The book is told through the lens of Laurie and Kim's relationship and friendship.This is a true gem for any dog lover.
